On Tuesday 28th June we said goodbye to this years 6th class boys with a graduation ceremony. On an emotional night for everybody, one of the highlights of the night was a video compilation of some of the many magical moments we have shared with these boys over the last eight years. Sports Day for 5th and 6th Class Sports Day will go ahead today from 9.45am.
This Friday, our last lotto for this school year will take place. €10,000 is still up for grabs. The lotto jackpot has been at €10,000 for the last 41 draws. We would love for it to be won for the summer holidays! If you wish to take part, choose 4 numbers between 1 and 28. The cost is €2 per line. Please do not put your child’s name on the envelope, as you need to be over 18 to play. We would ask parents to please support the Lotto.
There will be a Non-Uniform/ Jersey Day tomorrow (23rd June) for Celbridge G.A.A U-14's Gaelic Footballers who will be heading to Cork on Friday 24th June for National Feile Peile na nOg, many of which are past pupils of the school. All donations gratefully received and thank you in advance for your support.
The 6th Class Graduation will take place on Tuesday 28th June at 7.30pm in the school hall. If any 6th class parents are around for the 2.40pm finish time on Tuesday 28th there will be a guard of honour held for the boys from the main school door at reception out to the school gates by the Principal, Vice Principal, teachers and parents.
By now your son should have received his booklist. They are now available to download from the website. If you are going to avail of the Book Rental Scheme for 2016/ 2017 please fill in the form at the bottom of the booklist and return with payment to the office before June 30th.

The amount raised for our Ice-Cream Day in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland is €867.03. Thanks to everyone who supported this cause.

The Parents Association would like to invite all parents, guardians, grandparents etc to their annual end of school year Parents Tea/Coffee Morning. There will be a uniform swap shop for anyone who wants to pick up/drop off uniform items for the new school term 2016/2017. The weekly lotto draw will also take place; hopefully someone will win the €10,000 before school closes for summer holidays!! Sports days for the various classes take place next week. Below are the days and starting time for each class. the colour system is in use. We would ask parents to understand that boys may not get their favourite colour and that colours will be assigned on a random basis by their class teacher.
Junior / Senior Infants Monday 10 am 1st / 2nd Classes Tuesday 10 am 3rd / 4th Classes Wednesday 10 am 5th / 6th Classes Thursday 10 am HB Ice Cream Funday took place in school today. The Funday raises money for Down Syndrome Ireland. We had a fantastic response from the boys who once again showed their tremendous generosity. Huge thanks to the parents who turned up today to dish out the ice cream to over 500 boys! Check out the pictures in our gallery below.
